I had the pleasure of attending the #STAconference2016 over the weekend to catch up with colleagues from all over the country – and to learn more about all of the fabulous developments coming for not only swimmers with STA swim schools such as Just Add Water, but also for us as professional swimming teachers. Water Safety Week is over for this year and we wanted to say thank you to everyone who took part with us and that we hope some valuable lessons were learned amidst the fun!
It can’t be overemphasised how important water safety is. The Swimming Teachers Association place a lot of emphasis on it for good reason and have produced the following video with Doing It For Dylan to further highlight the issue:
By raising awareness, tragic accidents can be avoided in the future.
